A person who holds themselves accountable to nobody should not be trusted by anybody.

You’re making a big mistake when you entrust your life with someone who doesn’t subscribe to a moral code or religious faith.

They may be fun and interesting to be with during times of peace, but where will they go when storms of life come?

When trials and shake-ups come, what will make them hold on?

Also, when money comes and they have a thousand options in front of them, why will they still choose you?

When the weather is sunny and sweet, any house is okay to sleep in. But when rains come, and storms rage, only the house that’s built on the stone will stand.

It’s very easy to ignore foundations when you think you’re in love or when you’re too needy for validation.

Yet the law of sowing and reaping states that we can’t rush what we wish to last.

We can invest as much as we want and say we’ve been together these many years or we’ve built this big business and family. But when times of testing come either through adversity or success, all that will count is how strong the foundation is.

Laws of life are like road signs in that they’re silent, and you can ignore them if you wish. But the consequences of ignoring them will always catch up with you down the road.
